Meet at: Dinosaur Journey Museum, Fruita at 8:00 AM

Description:

Walk in the footsteps of giants! Travel with us to scenic Moab, UT and find where dinosaurs once roamed. We’ll see tracks from small stalking raptors to colossal sauropods, and even stop by the new Utahraptor State Park and the Moab Giants Museum. Bring your hat, walking shoes, sunscreen and a camera for this adventure.

Difficulty: Short hikes are involved in this expedition. Most hikes are less than 1 mile and are rated from easy to moderate.

Itinerary:

8:00 am – depart Dinosaur Journey in Fruita, CO

Stop 1 – Copper Ridge Trackway (difficulty = moderate)

Stop 2 – Mill Canyon Trackway (difficulty = easy)

Lunch at Moab Giants Café (included)

Stop 3 – Moab Giants Museum (difficulty = easy)

Stop 4 – Utahraptor State Park (difficulty = easy)

Stop 5 – Moab Springs Tracksite (difficulty = easy)

5:00pm – return to Dinosaur Journey.
